Adult Nomination

Each year, upon holding a troop or team election for youth candidates that results in at least one youth candidate being elected, the unit committee may nominate registered unit adults (age 21 or over) to the lodge adult selection committee. The number of adults nominated can be no more than two-thirds of the number of youth candidates elected, rounded up when the calculation gives you a fraction. In addition to the two-thirds limit, the unit committee may nominate the currently-serving unit leader (but not assistant leaders), as long as he or she has served as unit leader for at least the previous 12 months and meets the camping requirement. Recommendations of the adult selection committee, with the approval of the Scout executive, serving as Supreme Chief of the Fire, will be candidates for induction, provided all conditions are fulfilled.

PLEASE NOTE: You may not nominate yourself. This form should be filled out by your Committee Chairperson or their delegate, NOT by the person being nominated.

Adult nominations are now submitted directly to the unit portal in LodgeMaster. Each unit has a unique link for your unit, which should get emailed to the Unit Leader and Committee Chair on record with the council the day after your election report is filed by your Chapter Chief. If you haven’t gotten this email, your Chapter Chief can find your unique link and send it to you directly.
